In 2011 most of our staff has attended  updated training and education on a wide variety and topics including: animation, pedestrian crash reconstruction, total station update, computer simulation, air bag control modules, commercial vehicle crash investigation and special problems in accident reconstruction. Keeping current in the technology and methodology of crash reconstruction is a priority for our staff.

Our 2011 case load took us to varied parts of the country including Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Puerto Rico, Florida, Indiana and New Jersey.

We have recently purchased and received training in a sophisticated new computer simulation program known as ARAS 360 that also generates 2D and 3D animations.  This program in conjunction with our other software capabilities allows us to consider alternate theories as to how a crash occurred, test our opinions, analyze vehicle dynamics and present animations to demonstrate our opinions to juries.

Our staff will be presenting various courses in the field of crash investigation and reconstruction during 2012 including; air bag control modules, vehicle dynamics, crash reconstruction, motorcycle crash investigation, pedestrian/bicycle crash reconstruction and biomechanics.  All of these classes will be taught in the greater Cleveland area, and a number of these classes will carry CEU credits for ACTAR and some will be receiving CLE credits for attorneys.  Contact Introtech for more information or William Healy at info@ncpi-ohio.com.

Introtech has received the new software and hardware to download air bag control modules from a wide variety of Toyota vehicles.  We have already downloaded a number of Toyota vehicle air bag control modules and used that data to assist in resolving questions and issues from the crash.  This new software will enhance the capability that we already have for GM, Ford, Chrysler and other vehicle manufacturers.
